It's a disease. Having so much to say and no one to say it to, or no one who will understand. Everyone has it. We struggle to understand each other, to give our minds a moment's rest. Yet no one can really understand another person. We withhold information, the ugly stuff, because who wants to hear that? Even when you open up to someone, emotion affects what you say. Emotions change all the time, so what is true one minute might not be true the next day. We can't understand each other, so we all have to live with loneliness...the human condition; the shadow behind us.
